Reservation Form & Directions
AACRL will hold its annual dinner meeting on Wednesday, April 26th, in the Patton
Room of the Convention Center complex adjacent to the Marriott Shoals Hotel in Florence,
Alabama. In addition to a short business meeting, Frances Maloy, Emory University
General Libraries will be the keynote speaker.
About the Speaker
Ms. Frances Maloy is the Leader, Access Services Division at Emory University
Library and past (2004-2005) ACRL President. She obtained her M.L.S. degree from
State University of New York at Albany in 1982. Ms. Maloy will be speaking on current
events and initiatives of ACRL that will likely effect academic librarians.
About the Dinner
The AACRL dinner meeting will be held in the Patton Room of the Convention Center
complex adjacent to the Marriott Shoals Hotel in Florence on Wednesday,
April 26th, at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Menu
The dinner will include a tossed garden salad, an entrée with side items, a
dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage.
Entrée (Choice of:)
Peppered London Broil (Thinly sliced flank steak topped with a peppercorn Demi~Glace)
Chicken Marsala (Chicken breast sautéed & finished with a mushroom & sweet marsala wine sauce)
Grilled Salmon Fillet (Fresh Atlantic salmon broiled with a honey bourbon glaze)
Vegetable Plate (Assortment of fresh vegetables)
Dessert (Choice of:)
Tiramisu
Key Lime Pie

Those interested in attending the annual dinner meeting should return one
of the reservation forms linked below along with the $40 registration fee by April
18, 2006 to Bethany Skaggs, Houston Cole Library, Jacksonville State University, 700 Pelham Road North,
Jacksonville, AL 36265-1602. One does not have to be a member of AACRL to attend.
